With this said, does it bring to mind all those nice, warm and cozy winter days... next to a fireplace? Well, there's a better way to spend your winter days. You could try for nice, warm and cozy as you winter in South Florida. This is a garden spot, so to speak, where you can spend your days outdoors enjoying the sun rather than indoors enjoying a fireplace. No wood to burn here! Real estate in South Florida ...Miami, for instance, is awaiting your arrival.

There are many places that turn into winter wonderlands in the colder months. Sometimes the wondering is brought down to: I wonder how I'm going to get the car out of the drift this time.  Real estate in Miami can have you living a very comfortable life during the winter, close to many attractions and with many sights to be seen. You can spend your day with a leisurely day of golf or out on the beach or spend your day in adventure or learning.

When you've had your fill of summer water activities in the winter, and then head out from your real estate in Miami to some of the museums and historical landmarks in South Florida. Butterfly World is within spitting distance of your winter home in Coconut Creek where the butterflies play amongst the drop dead gorgeous flora, tropical plant life, shimmering waterfalls and delicate gardens. Canals run throughout Fort Lauderdale and here you have the chance to take a tour or two in a boat down the canals a lá Venice. Florida Everglades Holiday Park is a hop, skip and jump away as you take a tour through the wetlands.

If you are missing the Performing Arts from your frigid home up north, don't worry.  There are plenty of shows to see while staying in your South Florida home. Every major city in the area has concerts, plays and symphonies being performed. Do you feel like a day or two away from your Florida winter residence? Cruises leave daily from the port heading out for a day or two in the Bahamas. You can spend anywhere from just one day to overnight at a resort in the Bahamas.  Yacht and charter rentals are available up and down the coast if you want to take time out for your own personalized cruise to your favorite little getaway.

The tropical climate that you will experience during the winter months in your South Florida home is to die for!  The Gulf Stream brings with it warmth from the Tropic of Cancer allowing for winter days ranging from 65-75ºF (18-14ºC) with an occasional drop to around 59ºF or 40ºF (15º, 4ºC). Precipitation isn't much to worry about in winter with only a few inches of rain falling.
