Miami has Miami International Airport, also known as the gateway to Latin America. Last year MIA ranked second in the nation, behind NY city's JFK Airport. Our airport had  8.04 Million international travelers, up 3.4% from the previous year.

We also have a metro rail system and bus transportation .

And now ... we have DecoBikes.

Visitors and locals can now rent a bicycle in South Beach. The program commenced with 500 two wheel wonders last week and addition bikes are planned in the coming months.

We love these idea for many reasons:

• Good for the enviornment...air quality and sound ( quiet)
• Slow down the pace of live... just imagine how much you can see at the slow pace of life on a bike!
• Savings on parking and gasoline
• It's just plain cool!

This bike sharing program costs are $5.00 for the first hour, a half hour ride will cost you $4.00 There are also  membership plans also available for "frequent " cyclers. Payment is accepted  at a sun-powered kiosk.
